Sara Lamøy Engberg

Sara is affiliated with Bull’s practice group for technology, privacy/data protection, and intellectual property (IP). She works particularly with commercial contracts, disputes and claims, negotiations, IT projects, compliance and regulatory matters, as well as general legal assistance to companies in the technology sector. She also provides support at the intersection of technology and M&A, including acquisitions and transactions in the technology sector.

Over the past three years, she has been seconded part-time as legal counsel to a technology company within a larger group, and more recently has served as the company’s internal legal resource. In this role, she has regularly assisted with negotiations of technology contracts on both the supplier and customer side, development and collaboration agreements, the development and maintenance of contract templates (SaaS, pilot agreements, partner agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.), as well as corporate governance and compliance. This experience provides valuable insight into companies’ internal processes and organization, which she brings to her work as external counsel.

Sara is active in legal professional communities and leads an informal network for in-house counsel in technology companies. She is a deputy member of Bull’s board, and a board member of Yngre Advokater, Oslo chapter, where she is engaged in developing and strengthening the legal environment for younger lawyers."
