Martin Berntzen Often can assist you in resolving challenges related to indirect taxes and logistics. Within those fields he covers a broad range of services from advisory to litigation. Mainly related to VAT, Excise duties, transportation, trade and trade restrictions. Furthermore, he has extensive experience advising companies on compliance related to trade and indirect taxation.

He has previous experience from the Norwegian Logistics and Freight Association, the University of Oslo and the Norwegian tax and excise authorities.

Martin is passionate about his field and has worked directly with both Norwegian Customs and Excise and the Norwegian Tax authorities in the development of several ongoing customs and trade reforms. Furthermore, he has organized meetings between Norwegian Customs and Excise and local businesses all over Norway, to help facilitate better communication and cooperation. In addition, he was a consultant on the newest Norwegian book on Customs and Excise law.

Martin is an experienced public speaker and holds regular seminars and lectures on such topics as VAT, international trade, trade restrictions and excise duties.
